RRH Staff
It truly takes a village to make a hunt club thrive. We have wonderful members, supporters, and friends, the list of whom is vast, who show up no matter the cost.
WELCOME TO OUR NEW HUNTSMAN & First WHIP!
As of May 1st 2025, Mackenzie and Amanda have arrived and are settling into their new roles with the RRH.

Mackenzie Wertman
Huntsman
Mackenzie, originally from Elverson Pa, from a family with no Equestrian backround, asked his mom one day if he could try horseback riding. Soon, he was lucky enough to grow up hunting with Sandy Dunn, Master of Foxhounds and Hunstman of Kimberton Foxhounds in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.
Later on, He began to whip for Rich Gable of Gable/Swisher Hounds, now Bellwood, for several seasons. In 2019, he took the Job as First Whip at Mr. Stewart's Cheshire Foxhounds. He then carried the horn for Cheshire's 2022 - 2023 season.
Mackenzie moved to Bridlespur Hunt in Eolia, Missouri in 2023 to Hunt their Hounds for the last 2 seasons. He introduced the Midwest pack to the Penn-Marydel Foxhounds, adding in great bloodlines and forming a tightly bunched group of hounds to chase coyotes and bobcat in a fast but mannerly way. "Mack" is excited to carry the horn for Rolling Rock Hunt this season!
Amanda Howe
First Whip
Amanda has been on a horse since the day she could sit up on her own as an infant. She started taking lessons at local hunter jumper barns, and even dabbled in eventing. She found her love for fox hunting when she was invited to the River Hills Foxhounds Children hunt in 2009. Following her debut in the Hunt field, Amanda hunted every opportunity she could in the years to follow.
Soon she became a junior whip for several seasons, and was honored in becoming First Whip of River Hills Foxhounds in 2016. Amanda was hunting 4 days a week, while also competing in the Jumpers under James C Paxson; Master of Foxhounds, Hunstman and retired Grand Prix Show jumper and trainer. She even carried the horn a few times in her 15 years with River Hills Foxhounds.
Amanda made the move to Eolia, MO, to be with her boyfriend, now fiancé, Mackenzie in summer of 2024. Now, she is very excited to whip under Mackenzie at Rolling Rock for the upcoming season, as well as manage the Colonial Stables Hunt horses!
Master of Foxhounds and Kennelman
Mark Teroerde MFH, now follows in the footsteps of his father, Fritz Teroerde MFH (ret.), and joins long time horseman, foxhunter, and Rolling Rock Hunt leader, William Burkland, MFH. It has been with the unwavering support and commitment of these individuals which has allowed our hunt club to continue - for generations.
Behind the scenes, our incredible team works tirelessly to ensure the success of the hunt. Preston Eller, our dedicated Kennelman, keeps our hounds happy, healthy, and ready to roll.
We are beyond grateful for our enthusiastic team and the stunning Ligonier Valley that we call home.
