Since our founding in 1921, the members of the Rolling Rock Hunt have enjoyed the privilege of foxhunting in the Ligonier valley of western Pennsylvania, thanks to the generosity of landowners.

Foxhunting

The rules of etiquette for fox hunting have been in place for many years, and shared by many hunts. While certain regional adaptations may have occurred due to individual circumstances, the core values remain the same.

Capping

RRH hunts Wednesdays and Saturdays mid-August through March. Wondering where we'll be next? Be sure to follow our Fixture Cards to find out.

Interested in joining us in the field? Please reach out to our Hunt Secretary to request permission to cap. RRH permits four caps per season. Guests must complete a liability waiver and pay capping fees prior to the meet (or via cash or check upon arrival at the meet.)

Please locate our Hunt Secretary or Field Secretary upon arrival at the meet. They can answer any questions and collect check/cash payments.

Liability Waiver

As part of our commitment to safety and tradition, all members and guests are required to complete this waiver before taking part in mounted or Hunt-sponsored activities. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all who share in the Hunt.
